TWEED
(Technology of Wallonia - Energy, Environment and sustainable
Development) is a network of companies located in
the Walloon region involved in the sustainable energy sector.
The members of TWEED are industrial companies such as
equipment manufacturers or energy producers, service
companies such as research consultancies or traders of
CO 2
certificates, and research centers, university departments,
public partners,…
The TWEED cluster first mission is to support investments in production and
exploitation of sustainable energy by gathering opportunities around concrete
projects.
Our services are:

Promote the networking between industrial or commercial companies and
other actor of the sustainable energy sector

Reactive and proactive approaches in order to stimulate new projects

Develop synergies with other clusters

Local and international promotion of members

Set-up technical support and management of projects

Carrying out industry, technical, market and economic studies on sustainable
energy sector.
“Sustainable energy” projects of TWEED and its members cover the following
areas:
1. Renewable energy sources
2. The implementation of new processes in order to achieve energy savings, energy
efficiency or the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, including CO 2
,
at industrial level and in the tertiary sector
3. The development of products pursuing the same goals, for industry, the
tertiary sector or individuals («green» services and goods).
