The Renewable Research Program gives place to wind turbine technologies
(emphasis on the maintenance of wind turbine technology and maximizing
production), hydroelectricity (a rather mature technology and thus the R&D
items are essentially triggered by return on experience) and solar photovoltaic
technology (focus on reducing business risk by better characterizing ageing
uncertainties). Biomass related activities are included in the Coal Research
Program.
