Company description<br />
Sirris is <strong>the</strong> collective centre of <strong>the</strong> <strong>Belgian</strong> technological industry. We help<br />
companies in <strong>the</strong> implementation of technological innovations, enabling <strong>the</strong>m<br />
to streng<strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong>ir competitive position over <strong>the</strong> longterm. Our experts visit<br />
companies on site, offer <strong>the</strong>m technological advice, launch innovation paths,<br />
and provide guidance until <strong>the</strong>y reach <strong>the</strong> implementation phase. It is our aim<br />
to find concrete solutions to <strong>the</strong> real challenges facing <strong>Belgian</strong> entrepreneurs.<br />
The Sirris Application Labs on <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r hand are available <strong>for</strong> testing your<br />
innovations in an industrial setting be<strong>for</strong>e taking <strong>the</strong>m to market, helping you<br />
take fewer risks. There, you can test <strong>the</strong> concrete application of concepts,<br />
attend training sessions or ask <strong>for</strong> advice. You can also research, develop<br />
and test your own innovative applications on an industrial scale. By placing<br />
<strong>the</strong>se labs at <strong>the</strong> disposable of companies, Sirris brings concrete realisation<br />
of innovations one step closer to companies without <strong>the</strong>m having to make<br />
major investments be<strong>for</strong>ehand. The labs are accessible to any company,<br />
big or small. In one of our application labs (<strong>the</strong> Offshore Wind Infrastructure<br />
Application Lab or OWI-Lab) we target <strong>the</strong> offshore wind energy sector to<br />
look into shared R&D projects. Next to that we grand access to state-of-<strong>the</strong><br />
art test and monitoring equipment (shared capacity).<br />
