The third annual X clinic was held
on Cedar Lake, WI. on June 13th -
15th. Twenty-one of 64 sailors
were girls enjoying this great sport.
But not to be overlooked, the
gentlemen had exceptional
competition at the three-day event.
Thirty-two boats were taught by
Matt Prange, Liz Prange, Kelly
Reese, Katie Eckert, Patty
Schmidt, Dave Bandstra and Tom
Commodore Hodgson pitches in to talk

Hodgson. The weather cooperated with
a selection of light and heavy air and
threatening storms. Cedar members
provided great meals and support.
At the end of the event, the six-race
regatta had Beaver’s Chris and Greta
Banholzer as champions. Pewaukee’s
Drake and Charlie Sprinkman sailed
consistently to second. Cedar’s
Patrick Egan with Annie
Sprinkman took third;
Nagawicka’s Ryan Grosch with
Alex Stuckart finished fourth and
Oshkosh’s (via Fond du Lac)
Sam Whealon and Jack
Goudreau were fifth.
