1-4-1 Maintenance mode<br />
The machine is equipped with a maintenance function which can be used to maintain and service the machine.<br />
(1) Executing a maintenance item<br />
Start<br />
Press the system menu/counter key.<br />
Select Service setting using<br />
the up/down cursor keys.<br />
While pressing the start key and the # key,<br />
press the enter key.<br />
Maintenance mode is entered.<br />
Select Maintenance mode using<br />
the up/down cursor keys.<br />
Press the enter key.<br />
Enter the maintenance item<br />
number using the up/down keys.<br />
The maintenance item is<br />
selected.<br />
Press the enter key.<br />
The selected maintenance item is run.<br />
Press the back key.<br />
Yes<br />
Repeat the same<br />
maintenance item?<br />
No<br />
Yes<br />
Run another maintenance<br />
item?<br />
No<br />
Turning power switch off and back on<br />
Maintenance mode is exited.<br />

* The test print mode cannot be stopped until the preset number of sheets is printed. To stop the operation, remove the<br />
cassette to cause a paper empty state. To terminate the test print mode in the middle of operation, you must turn off the<br />
power switch and then on again to exit the maintenance mode.<br />
