Description of Vehicle(s)<br />
When MCTD processes each application, the fees are<br />
calculated for all IRP jurisdictions for which apportionment<br />
has been requested. (Each jurisdiction individually bases the<br />
fees on different criteria, such as vehicle weight, purchase<br />
price, model year of the vehicle, or <strong>carrier</strong> type, etc.) Some<br />
jurisdictions have more than one fee, such as an excise <strong>tax</strong>,<br />
privilege <strong>tax</strong>, clean air levy, etc. All fees are included for<br />
each jurisdiction on the billing.<br />
The billing is either mailed to the <strong>carrier</strong>’s mailing address as<br />
shown on the application (or faxed), and shows the total amount due for the application. The<br />
billing consists of:<br />

Total <strong>registration</strong> fees, credential fees, IRP membership fees, IFTA license fees<br />
‣ Breakdown of Fees for Each Jurisdiction<br />
‣ Description of vehicle(s)<br />
