Also contributing to the attack for the Centurions were Steven Ott, who had two hits<br />
and three runs batted in, Cole Taylor and Jordan Walp both had doubles and Sean<br />
McElwain and Evan Boggs both singled. Deon Reese executed a perfect squeeze bunt<br />
in the third inning to score a CAL run.<br />
Cole Taylor was the winning pitcher for the Centurions, going the distance and striking<br />
out five.<br />
On Thursday, April 25, the Centurions fell short in losing to JCTMS, 5-2. Sean<br />
McElwain had two hits and a superb diving catch of a line drive in right field for the<br />
Centurions on this day. Ben Huls had a double, and Luke Price, Nick Weaver, Grant<br />
Harmon, and Cameron Marshall all singled.<br />
Cole Taylor, Luke Price, and Grant Harmon all pitched for the Centurions, and teamed to<br />
allow only five JCTMS hits in seven innings but a couple of ill-timed errors allowed<br />
JCTMS to score the needed runs to win.<br />
On Tuesday, April 23, five CAL first inning errors led to a five-run Crosby first inning, a<br />
lead the Centurions could not overcome, in falling, 10-7. CAL fought back with six runs<br />
in the final two innings and left the bases loaded in the final two innings of the game.<br />
Cole Taylor had two hits for the Centurions and Ben Huls doubled. Nick Weaver, Steven Ott, and John Harvie all singled for the<br />
Centurions with Huls, Weaver, and Luke Price (two walks) scoring two runs each. Luke Price and Cole Taylor pitched for the Centurions.<br />
