Mr. Dooley informed the House that, in consequence of, he had called on His Excellency the
Governor and tendered him certain advice. His Excellency could not see his way clear to
accept thb advice, consequently lie had tendered the resignation of his Government, and
advised His Excellency to send ior the Leader of the Opposition. 171 .
Nj,tv A DITINISTRATION :-
Sir George Fuller informed the House that ne had been commissioned by His Excellency the
Governor to form a. Government. The Ministry had been sworn in to-clay, and in view
of the proceedings which took place in. this House during the present sitting he had
tendered His Excellency certain advice . That advice had been refused . In cousequence
of the refusal of that advice by His Excellency lie had forwarded to him his resigiiaw
tion, 178 .
Mr .
Dooley informed the House that iiiiniediately after Sir George Fuller announced that he
had tendered his resignation His 1.xcullency had sent, for him and commanded him to
form an Administrad oil . Ile had accordingly done so, and Ministers waited upon His
Excellency this morning, and were dilly sworn in, 179 .
