Mr. Dooley informed the House that, in consequence <strong>of</strong>, he had called on His Excellency the<br />

Governor and tendered him certain advice. His Excellency could not see his way clear to<br />

accept thb advice, consequently lie had tendered the resignation <strong>of</strong> his Government, and<br />

advised His Excellency to send ior the Leader <strong>of</strong> the Opposition. 171 .<br />

Sir George Fuller informed the House that ne had been commissioned by His Excellency the<br />

Governor to form a. Government. The Ministry had been sworn in to-clay, and in view<br />

<strong>of</strong> the proceedings which took place in. this House during the present sitting he had<br />

tendered His Excellency certain advice . That advice had been refused . In cousequence<br />

<strong>of</strong> the refusal <strong>of</strong> that advice by His Excellency lie had forwarded to him his resigiiaw<br />

tion, 178 .<br />

Dooley informed the House that iiiiniediately after Sir George Fuller announced that he<br />

had tendered his resignation His 1.xcullency had sent, for him and commanded him to<br />

form an Administrad oil . Ile had accordingly done so, and Ministers waited upon His<br />

Excellency this morning, and were dilly sworn in, 179 .<br />
