That wrindmeqti muit be relevant, and in,igt not be subveraive <strong>of</strong> the principle <strong>of</strong> . the<br />
original Motion ; and tire amendments which dealt with the remodelling <strong>of</strong> the Commonwealth<br />
Constitution and the creation <strong>of</strong> an Australian Convention were Out <strong>of</strong> order . The<br />
amendments, however, which dealt with (a) subdiviAon <strong>of</strong> the State . as incidental to the<br />
subdivision <strong>of</strong> the Commonwealth ; and (b) the creation <strong>of</strong> a State in Northern <strong>New</strong> <strong>South</strong><br />
<strong>Wales</strong> and the consideration by a Federal convention <strong>of</strong> the Legislative powers between<br />
the States and Commonwealth were in a different category and were relevant, 99, 122 .
