Established in 1999, the Hong Kong
Young Industrialists Council Executive
Training Centre (Shenzhen) was the
first Hong Kong institute to tap into
the Shenzhen Virtual University Park
to provide education and training
programmes. Established with a
donation from the Hong Kong Young
Industrialists Council and with the
support of the Research Institute of
Tsinghua University in Shenzhen,
the Centre proactively provides the
business circle of southern China with
diversified professional programmes
at international levels, so as to equip
mainland talents with professional
knowledge and international perspective.
Up till now, the Centre has nurtured about
500 graduates at master’s programme
level and 3000 graduates of short-term
training programmes.
In addition to supporting the development
strategies of companies, the Centre also
provides enterprises with tailor-made
training services, as well as highly costeffective
courses that address the needs
of the companies’ internal operation. In
recent years, on top of providing training
services, the Centre also provides logistic
support to recruit mainland students to
Hong Kong for PolyU undergraduate and
postgraduate programmes.
