The APPLICATION <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> LIQUID MANURE by placement in<br />

bands with a slit cut into the soil beneath the bands. Used<br />

mainly to reduce AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also reduces<br />

ODOUR.<br />

The APPLICATION <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> LIQUID MANURE <strong>on</strong> arable land using<br />

an INJECTOR, mainly to reduce AMMONIA EMISSIONS.<br />

The APPLICATION <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> LIQUID MANURE into grassland using<br />

an INJECTOR, mainly to reduce AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also<br />

reduces ODOUR.<br />

A machine for the INJECTION <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> LIQUID MANURE into soil.<br />

These normally comprise an array <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> injector units mounted <strong>on</strong><br />

a TANKER or at the rear <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a tractor (UMBILICAL SYSTEM).<br />

LIQUID MANURE is normally fed from the TANKER or<br />

UMBILICAL HOSE to a rotary distributor that serves to chop<br />

and homogenize the MANURE and to proporti<strong>on</strong> it evenly to<br />

hoses attached to each INJECTION UNIT. May be shallow<br />

INJECTOR or deep INJECTOR etc. Used mainly to reduce<br />

AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also reduces ODOUR.<br />

A machine comprising spring or rigid tines with pipes attached<br />

and mounted <strong>on</strong> a tractor or TANKER for INJECTION <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

LIQUID MANURE into cultivated land. Used mainly to reduce<br />

AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also reduces ODOUR.<br />

A type <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> INJECTOR where the slots cut in the soil are left<br />

open after filling with LIQUID MANURE. Used mainly to reduce<br />

AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also reduces ODOUR.<br />

A type <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> INJECTOR where the slots cut in the soil are closed<br />

up after filling with LIQUID MANURE e.g. by press wheels.<br />

Used mainly to reduce AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also reduces<br />

ODOUR.<br />

A type <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> INJECTOR where LIQUID MANURE is forced into<br />

the soil under pressure e.g. <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> 5-8 bar. Used mainly to reduce<br />

AMMONIA EMISSIONS. Also reduces ODOUR.
