<strong>of</strong> God. For many, the sacredness <strong>of</strong> Kol Nidre <strong>is</strong> unparalleled. It <strong>is</strong> an<br />

even<strong>in</strong>g when hearts are opened <strong>and</strong> souls transformed. We enter with<br />

hopes for all the good that might emerge <strong>in</strong> our lives <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong> the world<br />

for the com<strong>in</strong>g year.<br />

We encourage families with kids <strong>in</strong> 3rd-6th grade <strong>to</strong> attend as a<br />

your preference.) Childcare <strong>is</strong> available for preschool children (ages<br />

2-7) concurrent with our Yom Kippur Family Service. Students <strong>in</strong><br />

grade 7 <strong>and</strong> above are encouraged <strong>to</strong> worship with their parents <strong>in</strong> the<br />

SOVA Food Collection<br />

SOVA food pantries provide free groceries <strong>and</strong><br />

supportive resources <strong>to</strong> nearly 5000 men, women<br />

<strong>and</strong> children each month. <strong>Temple</strong> <strong>Isaiah</strong> will be<br />

hold<strong>in</strong>g three major collections <strong>of</strong> food for SOVA:<br />

Yom Kippur (at the Century Plaza Hotel), Passover<br />

<strong>and</strong> Shavuot. For our first major collection, we<br />

are ask<strong>in</strong>g everyone <strong>to</strong> br<strong>in</strong>g a bag <strong>of</strong> food <strong>to</strong> the<br />

Century Plaza Hotel on Yom Kippur.<br />
