the 2009-2010 school year. As th<strong>is</strong> will be<br />
my last year as Religious School Pr<strong>in</strong>cipal,<br />
I want it <strong>to</strong> be the best. I am so excited<br />
for the <strong>opportunity</strong> <strong>to</strong> share it with you. I<br />
wanted <strong>to</strong> <strong>give</strong> th<strong>is</strong> wonderful community<br />
advanced notice <strong>of</strong> my retirement <strong>in</strong> order<br />
that we have ample time <strong>to</strong> go through the<br />
process <strong>of</strong> f<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g someone great. Upon<br />
my retirement, I will become Pr<strong>in</strong>cipal<br />
Emeritus <strong>and</strong> enjoy cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> be<br />
<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> the community I love.<br />
We are so excited <strong>to</strong> welcome a new year<br />
at <strong>Temple</strong> <strong>Isaiah</strong> Religious school. Th<strong>is</strong><br />
summer, we launched our br<strong>and</strong> new<br />
onl<strong>in</strong>e reg<strong>is</strong>tration as part <strong>of</strong> our cont<strong>in</strong>ual<br />
exploration <strong>of</strong> new ways <strong>to</strong> grow. Not just<br />
adm<strong>in</strong><strong>is</strong>tratively, but educationally as well,<br />
we cont<strong>in</strong>ue <strong>to</strong> f<strong>in</strong>d new ways <strong>to</strong> engage<br />
<strong>and</strong> enrich our students. Th<strong>is</strong> com<strong>in</strong>g<br />
year will see the second year <strong>of</strong> our new<br />
Religious School alternative for families:<br />
Shabbat B’Yachad for which we received<br />
a Legacy Heritage Grant <strong>and</strong> the launch<br />
<strong>of</strong> our family-styled model called Tiyul:<br />
Connections designed by our Re-Imag<strong>in</strong>e<br />
team.<br />
Together, we have grown our school from<br />
185 <strong>to</strong> 530 students, <strong>and</strong> I’ve seen many<br />
<strong>of</strong> our students grow <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> adulthood <strong>and</strong><br />
then return as <strong>Temple</strong> members, or as<br />
teachers here, which really makes me kvell!<br />
I look forward <strong>to</strong> cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g <strong>to</strong> grow <strong>and</strong><br />
learn <strong>to</strong>gether <strong>and</strong> shar<strong>in</strong>g a great year<br />
<strong>to</strong>gether beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the fall. I also look<br />
forward <strong>to</strong> be<strong>in</strong>g a part <strong>of</strong> the transition<br />
when a new person takes on the leadership<br />
<strong>of</strong> our educational programm<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> th<strong>is</strong><br />
