B. FAR 52.216-1 - TYPE OF CONTRACT (APRIL 1984)<br />

It is anticipated the one award will be made from this solicitation and that the<br />

award will be made on/about September 1, 20<strong>06</strong><br />

It is anticipated that the award from this solicitation will be a 12 month cost<br />

reimbursement plus Award Fee, completion type contract. In addition, four 12<br />

month Option periods shall be negotiated (exercisable each contract year).<br />

Incremental funding will be used (see Section L.2.c. Business Proposal<br />

Instructions).<br />

C. FAR 52.233-2 - SERVICE OF PROTEST (AUGUST 1996)<br />

a. Protests, as defined in Section 33.101 of the Federal Acquisition<br />

Regulation, that are filed directly with an agency, and copies of any<br />

protests that are filed with the General Accounting Office (GAO) shall be<br />

served on the Contracting Officer addressed as follows:<br />

b. The copy of any protest shall be received in the office designated above<br />

D. COMMUNICATIONS PRI<strong>OR</strong> TO CONTRACT AWARD<br />

Offerors shall direct all communications to the attention of the Contract Specialist<br />

or Contracting Officer cited on the face page of this <strong>RFP</strong>. Communications with<br />

other officials may compromise the competitiveness of this acquisition and result<br />

in cancellation of the requirement.<br />

The technical contact for additional information and answering inquiries is the<br />

Contracting Officer. All questions regarding this solicitation shall be in writing<br />

and received by the Contracting Officer no later than April 17, 20<strong>06</strong>. Answers to<br />

questions shall be sent to the prospective offeror by solicitation amendment. Mail<br />
