Help us to host a greener
convention!
SUMA is committed to recycling and reducing
waste wherever possible, as are the majority of
our members. We are conscious of the effect
our convention has on the environment and are
striving to minimize its impact. We encourage
our delegates to join the effort by:
• Use your favourite travel mug or water bottle
at convention. Ceramic mugs for coffee and
tea and glasses for water will be used at the
refreshment stations
• Hopping on one of our shuttle buses, or car
pooling with your colleagues
• Using the clearly identified recycling bins
located throughout Queensbury for your
plastic drink bottles.
We thank you for your participation, and for
recognizing that reducing waste and practicing
good recycling behavior is everyone’s
responsibility!
Name Tags
Your name tag is your admission to all
convention sessions and luncheons. It is also
your introduction to your fellow delegates.
Your name badge is a must wear item during
convention.
SUMA will collect the badges and holders at the
close of convention for re-use later. When you
return your tag your name will be entered into a
draw for a fantastic prize.

Transportation & Parking
SUMA and the City of Regina are pleased to
provide shuttle bus service for SUMA delegates.
Complete bus schedules are available at the
front desk in your hotel, as well as being posted
in your hotel lobby. Please refer to page 10 of
your Convention Handbook for route details.
Free on-site parking is available at the
Queensbury Convention Centre.
Municipal Marketplace Trade Show
The Municipal Marketplace is the largest trade
show of its kind in Western Canada! Please take
the opportunity to meet with over 170 suppliers
and learn about the many products and services
available to help you in your community.
The Municipal Marketplace will be open
Monday, February 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
Tuesday, February 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Note: Times have been set aside in the agenda
for Municipal Marketplace viewing.

ringer or put it on a silent/vibrate setting during
all sessions.
Delegate Business Centre
Upper Level, Queensbury Convention Centre
SUMA, in conjunction with our partners, Lexcom
Systems Group and Success Office Systems,
is pleased to offer a business centre during
convention. The centre gives delegates access
to photo copying, faxing and courier services on
a cost-re covery basis. Rates for services are
posted in the centre, and are printed on your
delegate envelope
