Sh. Rajesh Ravi, Manager of the promoter company, who was<br />

also present in the meeting, requested for 10 days time to submit the reply<br />

to the aforesaid observations of the <strong>Authority</strong>. The <strong>Authority</strong> agreed to<br />

accept the request of the project proponent and decided to defer the case<br />

till the proper reply of all the observations is received.<br />

3. Thereafter, the project proponent vide letter No. PDL/Strategic<br />

Planning/EIA/2272 dated 12.5.<strong>20</strong>11 has submitted the reply of the<br />

observations raised by the SEIAA in its 30 th meeting held on 27.4.<strong>20</strong>11.<br />

Sh. Anand Kumar Dubey, who is the <strong>Environment</strong>al Consultant of the<br />

project proponent and the name of his consultancy firm figures at Sr. No. 216 of<br />

the list uploaded by the MoEF at its official website, presented the reply of the<br />

observations as under:<br />

i) The M.C. Dera Bassi has allowed to discharge 1000 KLD of treated<br />

wastewater into sewer, which is being laid down by the Council against the<br />

actual discharge of 301.8 KLD of wastewater during rainy season.<br />

ii)<br />

There are only two air polluting industries namely M/s Spray Engineering<br />

Sugars Ltd., and M/s Essics Bio-sciences Ltd., are located within a radius of<br />

100 m from the periphery of the project site. A provision has been made to<br />
