MAINTENANCE & CAR CARE<br />
Battery<br />
Use a proper wrench to loosen and remove cables from the<br />
terminals. Always disconnect the negative (-ve) cable<br />
first and reconnect it last.<br />
Clean the battery terminals with a terminal cleaning tool or<br />
wire brush.<br />
Reconnect and tighten the cables, coat the terminals with<br />
petroleum jelly.<br />
If you need to connect the battery to a charger, disconnect<br />
both cables to prevent damage to the vehicle’s electrical<br />
system.<br />
Note : Charging the battery with the cables connected<br />
can seriously damage your vehicle's electrical/electronic<br />
equipment.<br />
Swallowing electrolyte can cause fatal injury if<br />
immediate action is not taken.<br />
Do not reverse the battery connection on the vehicle<br />
as it may damage the vehicle electricals.<br />

Note : -ve terminal is connected to the body/cab.<br />
