24. Ensure doors are properly
closed.
25. Insulation in the cab room
should be kept-up in good
condition.
27. Vehicle has a turbocharged
engine, keep engine in idlling
speed for atleast a minute
after starting and also before
stopping it, to protect the
turbo charger against damage
due to oil starvation.
Air conditioning system :
1. Whenever vehicle is parked in
the sun, drive with ventilator
open for a few minutes to blowoff
for hot air before switching
on A.C.
2. Keep all gun port, ventilator,
roof hatch closed, when AC
system is working.
Do’s
3. During stop and go city
driving use lower gears to
obtain efficient cooling.
4. If you feel irritation in the eyes
due to smoke or during long
drive, stop AC and ventilate for
half a minute by opening
ventilator.
5. Before stopping the engine first
switch-off AC and then the
blower.
6. During off-season operate the
air conditioner a few times
every month to lubricate
components.
