Vehicle maintenance<br />
1. Gear Box Oil Level / Filler Plug<br />
2. Gear Box Oil Drain Plug<br />
Gear Box Oil<br />
Checking of Oil Level :<br />
1. Clean the oil level plug and<br />
surrounding area.<br />
2. Remove the oil level plug and check<br />
whether oil is dripping out.Oil level<br />
must not be below the filler plug.<br />
Add oil to bring it tothe level.<br />
3. Tighten oil level plug to 2-3 mkg.<br />
torque.<br />
Changing Oil in Gear Box :<br />
1. Let the engine idle for about 5 min.<br />
in neutral, so that the gear box oil<br />
is warmed up.<br />
2. Clean the oil level plug, drain plug<br />
and surrounding area.<br />
3. Place a container under gear box<br />
to collect the oil.<br />
4. Remove the drain plug and let the<br />
oil drain out.<br />
5. Also remove the oil level plug.<br />
6. Tighten the oil drain plug and fill new<br />
recommended oil through oil level<br />
plug and tighten the oil drain plug<br />
oil level plug to 2-3 mkg. torque.<br />
