5. Adjust both brake shoes of the<br />
other wheel as described above.<br />
6. Operate brake pedal twice/ thrice,<br />
simultaneously rotating both rear<br />
wheels, for checking proper<br />
application and release of brakes.<br />
7. Re-adjust, if necessary.<br />
8. Remove front wheel chocks.<br />
9. Test drive vehicle for checking<br />
proper brake function.<br />
Parking Brake Brake adjustment<br />
(Floor mounted) :<br />
Adjust that all four rear brake shoes<br />
have been properly adjusted.<br />
1. Put chocks on front wheels.<br />
2. Jack up the rear axle.<br />
3. Loosen the lock nut. Pull the<br />
parking brake lever up to 5th<br />
notch.<br />

4. Tighten the adjusting screw till<br />
rear wheels start jamming and<br />
cannot be rotated.<br />
5. Release the parking brake and<br />
ensure that wheels are rotating<br />
freely. Hold the adjusting screw<br />

1.Check nut 2. Parking brake nut<br />
in this position and tighten the<br />
lock nut. Operate parking brake<br />
few times to ensure proper<br />
