Special Operating Conditioning
Special Operating Conditions :
1. Operating on dusty/sandy roads.
2. Operating on hilly terrain with dusty
conditions.
3. Operating on muddy and melted
snow roads.
4. Operating frequently above 2000
m. of altitude.
5. Possible mixing of impurities in the
fuel due to operating conditions.
The vehicle is fitted with 3L DICOR
engine can be used satisfactorily
under the following conditions :
1. Altitude : Mean Sea level / ambient
temp. up to -20 0 C ( With
recommended fuel & oil)
2. Altitude : 2500 meters and
ambient temp. upto -20 0 C ( With
recommended fuel & oil)
Recommendations for operating
under special conditions :
1. Air filter :
Cleaning of air filter cleaner element
For dusty operating conditions cleaning
of air filter element need to be
carried out when ever red band
appears on the indicator. Cleaning of
air filter element should be carried out
by tapping the element gently so that
the dust could fall off.
Air filter element may be changed :
If the red band appears on the
Service Indicator continuously. OR
If visually it is observed to be covered
with mud / dust which can not be
cleaned effectively.
2. Engine oil and oil filter :
For special operating conditions of
vehicle, change oil and oil filter at
every 5000 kms or 3 months whichever
is earlier. (Existing frequency for
normal operating conditions is 10000
kms)
