Fuel & Filter Draining & Priming / Pear Pump<br />
5. Wait until all the water has<br />
drained out of the water<br />
sedimenter.<br />
6. As soon as the flow is free of<br />
water, screw the water sensor to<br />
the required torque.<br />
7. Clip the hydraulic connector and<br />
the electric connector to the<br />
water sensor.<br />
Fuel & Filter Draining :<br />
Loosen drain plugs by 1-2 turn and<br />
drain out water and other sediments<br />
from fuel filter bowls depending on<br />
operating conditions to ensure that no<br />
water is allowed to enter the fuel<br />
system.<br />
Priming / Pear Pump<br />
Priming Pump / Pear Pump :<br />
This is used for priming the fuel<br />
manually after overhauling of the<br />
engine or after refitment of fuel lines<br />
or after changing either fule filter or<br />
sedimenter Pump the fuel by means<br />
of priming pump / pear pump until all<br />
air in the fuel line removed. Before<br />
cranking the engine ensure that there<br />
is no air in the fuel system.<br />
CAUTION<br />
Do not loosen the HP lines of<br />
DICOR system for bleeding the air<br />
from fuel system.<br />
