Special functions<br />
6.7. - Collector field cooling<br />
This function controls an external coolig unit to cool down the collector.<br />
Settings range: On, Off<br />
6.7.1. - Tmax field<br />
If this temperature is exceeded at the reference sensor, the relay is switched on.<br />
Settings range: 100 °C to 180 °C / Default: 120 °C<br />
6.7.2. - Hys min<br />
When the temperature falls below Tmax fi eld +Hys min, the relay is switched off.<br />
Settings range: -20 to -2°C / Default: -5<br />
6.7.3. - Hys max<br />
To protect the cooling unit itself from damage, the relay is switched off as soon as the temperature at the reference<br />
sensor reaches Tmax fi eld + Hys max<br />
Settings range: 2 to 60 °C / Default: -20<br />
6.7.4. - Field cooling sensor<br />
Reference sensor of the collector fi eld cooling function.<br />
Settings range: S1-S8, VFS1-2, active storage, RC / Default: none<br />
Caution<br />
This function does not activate the solar pump to cool the collector. Therefore, please refer to the<br />
collector protection.<br />
