THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVES<br />
Refrigerant 410A<br />
Sporlan offers thermostatic expansion valves in R-410A nominal<br />
capacities between 0.88 and 28 kW. The models offered are externally<br />
equalized, have straight through or angle configuration, and SAE or<br />
ODF connections.<br />
The BIZE models have a conventional port construction. BBIZE<br />
models have the advantage of a balanced port construction, which makes<br />
them ideally suited for systems with a wide range of operating conditions.<br />

The CBIZE and CBBIZE models are similar to the BIZE and BBIZE,<br />
but have an internal check valve to allow refrigerant flow to bypass the<br />
expansion valve port in the reverse flow direction in heat pump systems.<br />
The integral check valve means fewer connections, easier installation,<br />
and increased reliability.<br />
The Sporlan TEVs designed for R-410A have replaceable thermostatic<br />
elements with a locknut ring stronger than normally used with common<br />
refrigerants such as R-22 or R-134a.<br />

check valve to allow bypass flow in the reverse direction.<br />
