• The Sporlan dependable molded core used for maximum<br />

filtration ability. When the flow direction reverses, dirt already<br />

collected remains in the filter-drier.<br />

• A carefully engineered blend of desiccants for maximum water<br />

capacity and acid removal ability. The HPC-160-HH Series also<br />

has the HH style core with activated charcoal which offers<br />

maximum ability to remove oleoresin and other reactive chemical<br />

constituents in the oil.<br />

Sporlan Strainers are designed for use on refrigerant liquid or suction<br />

lines, brine and water applications and provide protection for controls<br />

“Y” TYPE CAST BRONZE STRAINERS<br />

Type XD is used primarily with ammonia. It may be used with a companion flange, or<br />

bolted to a Type D Thermostatic Expansion Valves and Type MA5A3 Solenoid Valves.<br />

Types 8004 and 8006 Strainers can be bolted direct to the inlet of Type A Thermostatic<br />

Expansion Valves or Type MA17A3 Solenoid Valves on Ammonia applications.<br />

Type 9008 and 9010 Strainers bolt directly to inlet of Types MA32P3 and DMA32P3<br />

Solenoid Valves.
