the special and the normal are impressively presented.
Hamburg Dungeon, a lively history of Hamburg's worst disasters of the
last 800 years, in which the audience is part of the show. The floods of 1717
and 1962, the Great Fire of Hamburg, which destroyed 1842 a quarter of the
city, the Black Death, the Inquisition, torture, and of course the legendary
decapitation of Störtebeker will be presented impressively in a combination
of horror, show and ghost train.
The International Maritime Museum with more than 40,000 exhibits,
individual pieces about navigation, shipbuilding, marine research and much
more things from antiquity to the present day.
The Spice Museum, in which are exposed more than 50 types of spices
from all around the world. Visitors can taste all the spices, they learn from
what countries the spices come from, how they are processed, and what
effects they cause. A highlight is the cooking event, where visitors can learn
how to use the spices properly.
