The official interpretation is the one with the voice of Aurita Perez,<br />
but there are two equally beautiful versions in the voices of Laura<br />
Ibañez and Rosita Rangel.<br />
With support from the Minister of Culture, Mariana Garcés and<br />
from the Mayor Jesús Antonio Sánchez Clavijo, this new rhythm<br />
was the basis for the organization of the Primer Festival and<br />
Reinado Nacional del Bambuco Caribe, which was held in Ocaña<br />
during the “semana de la Fraternidad” (week of the fraternity), from<br />
28 of June to 1 of July, 2013. Bambuco Caribe evokes the<br />
Andean-Caribbean hybrid that characterizes the Ocañeros and<br />
which manifests itself in the elegance and finesse of Bambuco and<br />
the happiness of Fandango.
