Issues Resolved<br />

The value of entries made in credit note using Inter-State Sales as the VAT/Tax class without<br />
selecting CST ledger and declaration form was being captured in box 2 of Form CST VI.<br />
This issue has been resolved.<br />

The value of entries made in credit note using taxable sales classifications was not being<br />
deducted from local sales amount in Form CST VI.<br />

Enhancements<br />
<br />
In Form VAT 226(B), the functionality is enhanced to capture the tax classification-wise<br />
break-up of sales made during the selected tax period.<br />

The value of entries made using the VAT/Tax classifications provided for 14.5% and 16%<br />
VAT rates are captured in Return Form, Annexures and Form C.S.T VI.<br />

Adhering to the Notification, the following new VAT/Tax Classifications have been introduced<br />
effective from February 1, 2010:<br />
•Purchases @ 16% Special Rate<br />
•Sales @ 16% Special Rate<br />
•Output VAT @ 16% Special Rate<br />
The value of entries made using the aforesaid classifications will be currently captured only in<br />
VAT Computation report.<br />
Note: In the forthcoming <strong>Stat.900</strong> releases, the functionality will be enhanced to capture the<br />
value of entries made using VAT/Tax class provided for 16% VAT Rates in Return Form.<br />

Adhering to the Notification, the following new VAT/Tax Classifications have been introduced<br />
effective from January 15, 2010:<br />
•Output VAT @ 14.5%<br />
•Sales @ 14.5%<br />
•Input VAT @ 14.5%<br />
•Purchases @ 14.5%<br />
•Purchases - Capital Goods @ 14.5%<br />
The value of entries made using the aforesaid classifications will be currently captured only in<br />
VAT Computation report.<br />
