B. Non-print published<br />

For out-<strong>of</strong>-state court cases that are not print published, place the elements <strong>of</strong> the<br />

citation in the following order:<br />

• The case name, in italics, followed by a comma;<br />

• The court <strong>of</strong> decision;<br />

• The case number, written as No. ___;<br />

• An electronic-database citation, if available, preceded by a comma;<br />

• The date <strong>of</strong> decision (month, day, year).<br />

C. Public-domain citation formats<br />

A number <strong>of</strong> states have developed their own public-domain citation forms,<br />
