• Lack of knowledge regarding sustainability/ecotourism<br />

Recreation:<br />

• People not aware of variety of recreation opportunities during visit<br />

• Event attract visitors, but advertising is inadequate<br />

• Rich inventory of attractions– but need to explore further opportunities to build<br />

• Print media is producing less content, give them free content<br />

• Public ignorance of local recreation opportunities<br />

• Events to draw attention to other opportunities/ resources<br />

• Children sucked into multi-media/ telecom – can’t get them out<br />

• Threatened recreation resources<br />

Farming:<br />

• Small businesses face challenges working through governmental processes - Economic<br />

development/cultural coordination<br />

• Concern for open space<br />

• Managing, building, and creating demand (marketing & product<br />

• Increased interest in locally grown, organic food<br />

• Urban residents lack of awareness of farming.<br />

• Growing demand for local products<br />

• Agro-tourism primed for growth but nobody knows about it.<br />

• Farms are growing & becoming more sustainable.<br />
