The Lilydale campus is located on 24 hectares on a hillside overlooking Lillydale Lake<br />

and within three quarters of a kilometre from Lilydale railway station. The campus<br />

has been established to provide forthe higher education needs of Melbourne's outer<br />

east into the 21 st century. A modern campus with approaches to teaching and<br />

learning well ahead of its time, the campus has been specially designed as a hub of<br />

the learning community. The campus is close to train and bus routes and forthose<br />

who choose to drive, ample parking is available.<br />

The campus offers undergraduate degree programs in the areas of business, social<br />

science, applied science, and tourism and enterprise management. The Bachelor of<br />

Business offers majors in Accounting and Marketing, the Bachelor of Applied<br />

Science offers a major in Computing and the Bachelor of Social Science offers<br />

majors in Psychology, Sociology or Media Studies. Students are able, within the<br />

constraints of time tabling, to take both a major and a co-major, across degree<br />

programs if so desired.<br />

The campus is an integral part ofthe University as a whole and as such students<br />

have access to the full range of resources of the mUlti-campus university, while<br />

enjoying a high degree of amenity and facility on the Lilydale site. The campus is fully<br />

equipped with library facilities, student cafe, microcomputer laboratories, student<br />

services, student lounge and bookshop. Emphasis is placed on the use of appropriate<br />

technologies as tools and means forteaching and learning.<br />
