ISDN glossary Service indicator Standard rate access System connection Three-party conference (3PTY) Toggle TSI Western plug A feature of ISDN. The service indicator, which is sent with every ISDN connection, indicates the type of connection required. If the service indicator of the calling terminal does not correspond to that of the called terminal, the connection is not established. Service package for ISDN features. A particular type of ISDN connection. In the Euro ISDN, either the basic rate acces or the primary rate access can be used for a system connection. The system connection is a point-to-point connection. In a three-party conference, a user is simultaneously connected to two other parties, whereby all three parties can speak to each other.
