SCREENING SAVES LIVES<br />
<strong>Wyoming</strong>’s Cancer Consortium<br />
recommends the following screenings:<br />
Colorectal Cancer: Colorectal Cancer<br />
screening beginning at age 50 with a<br />
colonoscopy every 10 years.<br />
Breast Cancer: Women age 40 <strong>and</strong> older<br />
should consider having a mammogram<br />
every 1-2 years.<br />
Cervical Cancer: Women should initiate<br />
Pap tests at age 21 <strong>and</strong> repeat every<br />
three years, or as recommended by their<br />
healthcare provider.<br />
Encourage your patients to schedule their<br />
screenings today.<br />
Early detection saves lives.<br />
Low or no-cost cancer screening services are available<br />
statewide for <strong>Wyoming</strong> residents who meet certain<br />
eligibility criteria.<br />
