College of Law<br />
The College of Law comprises two schools: the School of Law <strong>and</strong> the School of Criminal Justice. Within these<br />
two schools are eight academic departments offering master’s <strong>and</strong> <strong>doctoral</strong> degrees in various disciplines in law<br />
<strong>and</strong> criminal justice.<br />
The purpose of our master’s <strong>and</strong> <strong>doctoral</strong> <strong>qualifications</strong> is to equip graduates with knowledge, specific skills <strong>and</strong> applied<br />
competence to ensure that they will have opportunities for continued personal intellectual growth <strong>and</strong> gainful economic<br />
activity, <strong>and</strong> will be able to make valuable contributions to society.<br />
We are investing resources in postgraduate students in a number of ways, such as<br />
• a dedicated office for Graduate Studies to provide support to master’s <strong>and</strong> <strong>doctoral</strong> students <strong>and</strong> their supervisors<br />
• hosting workshops in the regions on research proposal writing <strong>and</strong> relevant subject matter<br />
