Master of Arts in Criminology 98606 An appropriate Bachelor Honours Degree, or an appropriate

minimum of 96 credits at NQF level 8 in Criminology. A student who
is admitted on the strength of a Postgraduate Diploma or a 480 credit
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 96 credits at level 8 and who has
not completed a module in research methodology may be required to
complete such a module at NQF level 8 for NDP before he/she will be
allowed to register for the module in research methodology of which the
outcome is the research proposal. International students must meet the
English language requirement as provided for in paragraph 2.1 of the
Procedures for Studies for Master's and Doctoral Degrees.
Master of Arts in Penology 98601 An appropriate Bachelor Honours Degree, or an appropriate

year LLB research module(NQF 8) before being admitted into the LLM
or 4. A foreign LLB degree of minimum three years duration and four
LLB modules selected from the NQF level 8 modules in the LLB degree
of which one must be the compulsory research module or 5. A foreign
LLM or 6. Candidates with a BProc or Bachelors Degree may apply
through the RPL process for admission to the LLM. This process must
prove NQF level 8 competence in law and research.
