John Huston, director and one of the stars<br />
of "The Bible." arrived from Europe to attend<br />
the world premiere of the Dino de<br />
Laurentiis production at I.oew's State Theatre<br />
.September 28. Also in from Europe<br />
were Lynn Redgrave, who plays the title<br />
role in "Georgy Girl," here to promote the<br />
Columbia release which will debut in mid-<br />
October, and Krista Nico. star of Times<br />
Films' "Sweet Skin," who is scl to debut as<br />
a chanleuse in a Greenwich Village spot<br />
prior to a Montreal engagement.<br />
Robert Evans. Paramount vice-president<br />
in charge of Kuropcan production, is in New<br />
York from Hollywood for ten days of conferences<br />
with home office executives before<br />
leaving for Paris and Rome, and finally<br />
London, where he will set up headquarters.<br />
* * * James Garner returned to the U.S.<br />
from Rome, where he completed the filming<br />
of MGM's Cinerama production of "Grand<br />
Prix." and Charles Bronson also got back<br />
from London after completing MGM's "The<br />
Dirty Dozen."<br />

Corp.. returned to New York with Mrs.<br />
Cioldwurm from a trip to Europe to acquire<br />
new pictures for U.S. distribution. * * *<br />
Richard Atlenborough came in from London<br />
to join the cast of "Doctor Dolittle." which<br />
is being produced by Arthur P. Jacobs for<br />
2()th Centur\-Fox release; Lucienne Bridou,<br />
French-born dancer in "A Funny Thing<br />
Happened on the Way to the Forum," came<br />
in for promotion in connection with the<br />
world premiere at Cinema I and Cinema II<br />
October 16 and Toshiro Mifune, Japanese<br />
star of MGM's "Grand Prix," arrived September<br />
26 on his first visit to the U.S., also<br />
to promote the picture.<br />

moved its offices Friday (30) from the<br />
Paramount Building to the third floor suite<br />

Films has moved its New York office from<br />
6.30 Ninth Avenue to 770 Lexington Avenue,<br />
where it will be operated as a division of<br />
Trans-Beacon Film Distributing Co. * * *<br />
Marc Connelly, actor and prize-winning<br />
playwright of "The Green Pastures." Sudie<br />
Bond, featured in the Broadway hit. "The<br />
Impossible Years." Maxwell Glanvillc.<br />
George Randall and John Randolph were<br />
signed for roles in "The Borgia Stick." the<br />
Technicolor picture being filmed in New<br />
York by Universal as one of its two-hour<br />
features for the NBC Television network.<br />
Universal also filmed final scenes for Ross<br />
Hunter's "Thoroughly Nfodern Millie" on<br />
Wall Street .Saturday and Sunday (24-2.S).<br />
Arthur Kurlon to Prominent<br />
Production Department<br />
NEW YORK—Arthur Kurlon, writer,<br />
producer and director for radio, TV and motion<br />
pictures, has joined Prominent Films to<br />
be in charge of the newly created motion<br />
picture production department, according<br />
to John Nasht. president, and Harold Wiesenthal.<br />
executive vice-president.<br />
Kurlon. who will be headquartered at the<br />
New York offices of Prominent, will be responsible<br />
for the development of new properties<br />
for the distribution company, which has<br />
expanded into the area ()KK I'.iul M. Ilclk-r. producer<br />
ol "David and Lisa, " and Leopoldo Torre-<br />
Nilsson, Argentine director who directed<br />
"The liavesdropper" for Heller in South<br />
.America, will again be associated in the production<br />
of "Secret Ceremony." based on the<br />
novel by the Argentine novelist. Marco<br />
Denevi, the film to be started in December<br />
1966.<br />
"The Eave,sdropper." which will be distributed<br />
by Royal Films International late<br />
in 1966. was shown at the recent New York<br />
Film Festival. Mark Lawrence, who was associated<br />
with Heller on "David and Lisa"<br />
and Beatriz Guido. wife of Torre-Nilsson. is<br />
completing the screenplay of ".Secret<br />
Cercmon> ."<br />
'Carry On Cabby' Release<br />
NI'W YORK—Ciovernor Films has set a<br />
November national release for the latest<br />
"Carry On"' British film, "Carry On Cabby,"<br />
according to David Emanuel, president.<br />
