Official <strong>NCAA</strong> <strong>Wrestling</strong> Rules<br />
No. 60—NEAR FALL. The shoulder or scapulae<br />
of the defensive wrestler are in bounds and<br />
a near fall or fall may occur.<br />
No. 61—LEGAL FOOT (INSTEP) HOLD.<br />
The defensive wrestler may grasp the instep, heel<br />
or ankle to try to escape, providing the pressure<br />
is not such as to endanger the ankle, knee or hip<br />
joint.<br />
No. 62—TOEHOLD. This is a<br />
potentially dangerous hold.<br />
Nos. 63 and 64—LEGAL (LEFT) AND ILLEGAL (RIGHT) FRONT DOUBLE ARM BAR.<br />
