The most recent golf course in the Algare,
Onyria Palmares, is the result of a complete
renovation of the old golf course. Today the
course is awe-inspiring due to its natural surrounding
environment and unique experience
for all those that look for the best in golf and
excellence in service. In April 2011, nine new
holes will be in full operation, making Palmares
a 27-hole golf course with a unique combination of “Parland” and “Links”
holes, all with a memorable view over the Atlantic Ocean and Avor
Estuary.

a unique experience to all visitors. According to the architect of the
project: “Palmares Golf Course is special on so many levels. The expansive
ocean vistas, dramatic elevation changes, quintessential
Mediterranean intimate valleys, and expansive dunes land have blessed
