XII Iberian Meeting of Electrochemistry & XVI Meeting of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society Welcome Message Dear Colleagues, The Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL) has the honor to host the XII IME -‐ XII Iberian Meeting of Electrochemistry and XVI Meeting of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society. Following the highly successful previous editions of Iberian Conferences, namely, just to mention the closest ones, those held in Tenerife (2009), Coimbra (2007) and La Corunha (2006), the XII IME provides, once again, a meeting point for scientific and technological exchange of ideas among delegates from academia, research institutes and industry, in all fields of Electrochemistry. The Scientific Program (as revealed by this Book of Abstracts) reflects the current vitality of research and diversity of Electrochemistry. The Organizing Committee warmly welcomes all participants, gratefully acknowledges their presence and wishes them a profitable and pleasant time along all the Conference, from both scientific and social points of view.
