<strong>Annual</strong> <strong>Report</strong> <strong>2012</strong>/<strong>2013</strong><br />
MIP and Jabatan Perancangan Bandar & Desa, Semenanjung Malaysia jointly organized a one month<br />
Exhibition on the History <strong>of</strong> Urbanism & Town Planning in Malaysia (Pameran Sejarah Perbandaran &<br />
Perancangan Bandar Di Malaysia). The exhibition was held at the National Museum from 13 th December <strong>2012</strong><br />
to 13 th January <strong>2013</strong> in conjunction with the MIP 40 th Anniversary Celebration. The sub-committee for<br />
Museum Exhibition comprises representatives <strong>of</strong> JPBD & MIP:<br />

On behalf <strong>of</strong> the MIP, the Committee would like to express its gratitude to everyone who has contributed &<br />
assisted in the preparation & running <strong>of</strong> the exhibition, in particular JPBD Semenanjung Malaysia and its staff<br />
for the main exhibition materials and manning the exhibition, staff <strong>of</strong> MIP, En Ihsan Zainal Mokhtar & IZM<br />
Consult for the MIP materials, as well as to MIP members who volunteered to manned the exhibition. We are<br />
also grateful to Jabatan Muzium Malaysia for hosting & assisting with some technical inputs for the exhibition.<br />
MIP’s Promotion, PR & Programme Committee assisted with the promotion and publicity.<br />
e). Public Talks<br />
A series <strong>of</strong> four Public Talks was held at the National Museum in conjunction with Pameran Sejarah<br />
Perbandaran & Perancangan Bandar di Malaysia. The programme was organised with assistance from the<br />
Promotion, PR & Programme Committee.<br />

On behalf <strong>of</strong> the MIP, the Committee wish to record its gratitude to Amir Hamlan & Dr. Syafiee Bin Shuid for<br />
moderating the sessions. The talks was very well attended, with a total attendance <strong>of</strong> 200 participants for the<br />

f) MIP Corporate Multimedia Presentation & Posters<br />
In conjunction with the 40 th anniversary celebration & Pameran Sejarah Perbandaran & Perancangan Bandar<br />
Di Malaysia, a corporate multimedia presentation, posters & flyers were put on display for one month at the<br />
National Museum.<br />
