ACTIVITIES REPORT (01 February <strong>2012</strong> – 31 January <strong>2013</strong>)<br />
1.0 MIPNB 8 th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING <strong>2012</strong><br />
The Northern Branch held its 8 th AGM on Saturday 25 February <strong>2012</strong> at the Cititel, Penang. A total <strong>of</strong> 1 Fellow, 15<br />
Corporate members and 3 graduate members <strong>of</strong> the Northern Branch attended the meeting. The AGM was observed<br />
by Pn Mazrina Dato’ Abd Khalid who is a Council Member <strong>of</strong> MIP National Council.<br />
As there was no election for this year, the AGM proceeded with a sharing session between the fellow planners on<br />
planning pr<strong>of</strong>ession issues particularly in the Northern Region.<br />
In conjunction with the AGM, a seminar entitled : Green City Planning was organized and followed by a Q&A session on<br />
the related matter. The occasion was graced by YB Chow Kon Yeow, EXCO <strong>of</strong> Local Government and Transportation<br />
Management, Director <strong>of</strong> Engineering Department, MPPP.<br />
