3.10 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Private Sector<br />
The CSR Taman Tunku Linear Park which was initiated by Penang State Government, chaired by YB Chow<br />
Kon Yeow and jointly facilitated by MPPP & MPSP together with participation by private sectors was<br />
implemented successfully on site. The Opening Ceremony was attended by Michael Ong & Cheng Hui Lin<br />
and a Certificate <strong>of</strong> Appreciation was given by MPSP to MIPNB.<br />
4.0 MIP CENTRAL ACTIVITIES<br />
4.1 MIP 40 th <strong>Annual</strong> General Meeting, 24 Mar <strong>2012</strong> at Jaya 33 Function Hall Petaling Jaya. The Branch<br />
Chairman Michael Ong and some branch members attended the AGM.<br />
4.2 MIP Central Council Meetings<br />
The Branch Chairman Michael Ong being a co-opted member <strong>of</strong> the Central Council attended the council<br />
meeting on 23 Mar <strong>2012</strong> & 10 Jan <strong>2013</strong> and Tan Thean Siew attended the Council meeting on 23 Mar, 20<br />
Apr, 25 May & 28 Aug <strong>2012</strong> at the Central Headquarters, Kelana Jaya, PJ.<br />
