5.2 Objectives<br />
i. To promote and raise public awareness on planning pr<strong>of</strong>ession and the <strong>Institute</strong><br />
ii. To organize outreaching programmes to promote planning pr<strong>of</strong>ession and the <strong>Institute</strong>.<br />
iii. To enhance the status and image <strong>of</strong> planning pr<strong>of</strong>ession and the <strong>Institute</strong>.<br />
5.3 Committee Activities<br />
a.)<br />
Fund Raising for MIP Education Fund Board<br />
MIP welcomes more contributions and generousity from the members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Institute</strong> as it will allow MIP to<br />
expand our educationa programmes and activities planned for the benefits <strong>of</strong> planning fraternity. All<br />
contributions will be tax – exempted vide Section 44(6) <strong>of</strong> the Income Tax Act 1967, Gazzette No 3979 dated<br />
5th July 1984.<br />
