A decade of Thunderbird weddings
Celebrating the biggest, the best and the most of alumni nuptials

Wedding invitations
come
from all
parts of the
world when a person joins
the Thunderbird family.
During the past decade I
have crisscrossed the globe
to witness alumni nuptials
from Morocco to Minnesota.
As a Nigerian, I am
no stranger to elaborate
weddings, but T-birds take
it to the next level in terms
of uniqueness.
I have dined on duck
feet in Hong Kong, peered
through confetti in India,
and watched sparks fly
(literally) in Brazil. One
Irish-Mexican wedding
even brought together
bagpipers and masked
luchadores at the same
party.
Each T-bird ceremony
stands out in its own way.
At the risk of leaving out
some deserving bride or
groom, I have decided
to recognize the biggest,
the best and the most
memorable Thunderbird
weddings in 20 categories.
