2. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS<br />

2.1 Warranty <strong>of</strong> <strong>AMC</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>DSPT</strong>s shall start from the date <strong>of</strong> sign<strong>in</strong>g agreement/work order.<br />

2.2 Terms and condition <strong>of</strong> <strong>AMC</strong> shall be applicable dur<strong>in</strong>g contract period <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g imposition <strong>of</strong><br />

penalties. Amount <strong>for</strong> penalties will be deducted from the pend<strong>in</strong>g payments aga<strong>in</strong>st or if that<br />

amount is <strong>in</strong>sufficient then by <strong>in</strong>vok<strong>in</strong>g the PBG available <strong>of</strong> <strong>AMC</strong> <strong>of</strong> from the charges due <strong>for</strong><br />

<strong>AMC</strong>.<br />

2.3 It shall be mandatory <strong>for</strong> the bidders to undertake the Annual ma<strong>in</strong>tenance contract <strong>for</strong> one year<br />

to be selected bidders has to submit a signed copy <strong>of</strong> the <strong>AMC</strong> agreement along with the work<br />

order.<br />

2.4 For this purpose the bidder shall quote all <strong>in</strong>clusive comprehensive <strong>AMC</strong> charges <strong>for</strong> each year.<br />

However, service tax shall be paid extra as applicable.<br />

2.5 The bidder shall <strong>in</strong>timate the contact number & address <strong>of</strong> service center where the compla<strong>in</strong>ts<br />

regard<strong>in</strong>g faults/defects are to be reported by the consignee/ field staff <strong>of</strong> BSNL.<br />

2.6 An <strong>AMC</strong> agreement is to be signed between the GMTD <strong>of</strong>fice and the vendor be<strong>for</strong>e completion<br />

<strong>of</strong> warranty period.<br />

2.7 All safety measures are to be taken while do<strong>in</strong>g the work.<br />

2.8 All tools and man power required <strong>for</strong> <strong>AMC</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>DSPT</strong>s will be arranged by the vendor on his own<br />

cost.<br />

2.9 Preventive ma<strong>in</strong>tenance- Once <strong>in</strong> three month <strong>for</strong> check<strong>in</strong>g functional aspects and adjustments.<br />

This requirement can also be adjusted with corrective ma<strong>in</strong>tenance wherever possible.<br />

2.10 Travel<strong>in</strong>g expenses <strong>of</strong> <strong>DSPT</strong> vendor personal: Journey to location <strong>of</strong> <strong>DSPT</strong> unit and back and the<br />

expenses on their board<strong>in</strong>g and lodg<strong>in</strong>g will be borne by <strong>DSPT</strong> vendor.<br />

2.11 In case any additional man power or resources become necessary dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>AMC</strong> period will be<br />

provided by the vendor without any extra charge.<br />

2.12 Certification by the user circle – Official <strong>of</strong> BSNL on duty at site shall sign on customer call slip.<br />

This will be taken as certificate <strong>for</strong> work done by vendor.<br />

2.13 Compla<strong>in</strong>ts booked by <strong>DSPT</strong> customer through 199 (a charge free access to HUB) from <strong>DSPT</strong>s<br />

or to direct dial<strong>in</strong>g HUB Helpl<strong>in</strong>e no. These compla<strong>in</strong>ts shall be given by Hub team to SSAs<br />

<strong>DSPT</strong> team by way <strong>of</strong> E mail/Fax.<br />

2.14 The circle/ SSA may ensure the generation <strong>of</strong> the periodic management report at call centre <strong>for</strong><br />

monitor<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> fault/ compla<strong>in</strong>t and its rectification.<br />

2.15 All other terms and condition <strong>of</strong> tender document will also apply.<br />

2.16 Work Order will be issued on quarterly basis.<br />
