ÌÌIC joins hands with Siemens to nurture the next generation
ÌÌ 工 業 中 心 與 西 門 子 合 作 培 育 未 來 社 會 棟 樑
The IC was invited by the
Siemens Limited (Hong Kong)
to support its “Siemens Youth
Programme 2010” held from 15 to 31
July 2010. Around 20 students from
local secondary schools participated in
the programme.
Different activities such as presentation
talks on Siemens, skills developing
workshops and visits to Siemens’
collaboration partners were included
in the three-week programme. As one

為 期 三 星 期 的 課 程 內
容 豐 富 , 活 動 包 括 有
西 門 子 企 業 介 紹 講
座 、 提 昇 不 同 技 能 和
個 人 素 質 的 工 作 坊 、
參 觀 西 門 子 的 合 作 夥
伴 等 。 工 業 中 心 與 西
門 子 多 年 來 一 直 保 持
緊 密 合 作 關 係 , 獲 西
門 子 邀 請 為 該 課 程 提
供 自 動 化 技 術 工 作
坊 、 參 觀 工 業 中 心 工
場 以 及 就 讀 理 大 的 介
紹 講 座 等 。
ÌÌIC receives grants for learning & teaching enhancing projects
ÌÌ 工 業 中 心 獲 撥 款 資 助 促 進 學 習 與 教 學 發 展 項 目

funding of around
HK$180,000 was recently
granted to the IC for the
successful application of its two learning
and teaching development projects
under the University’s Learning and
Teaching Development Projects 2009-12
Funding Scheme. The two projects are
namely “Expert System for Industrial
Processes Practice and Exploring
Multi-directional Knowledge” and
“Experience Sharing among Mentors
and Students in Integrative Learning”.
The two projects will last for one
year. As a grant recipient, the Project
Leader is expected to disseminate the
findings of the project and share with
other colleagues and departments the
deliverables and experience gained via
activities organized by the University.
業 中 心 獲 理 大 教 學 委 員 會 批
工 出 約 港 幣 18 萬 元 資 助 兩 個 促
進 學 習 與 教 學 發 展 項 目 。 兩 個 項 目
分 別 題 為 《 工 業 流 程 實 踐 之 專 家 系
統 》 及 《 導 師 與 學 生 在 綜 合 學 習 中
探 索 多 方 位 的 知 識 與 經 驗 共 享 》。
兩 個 項 目 均 為 期 一 年 。 由 於 項 目 獲
得 大 學 資 助 , 項 目 的 負 責 人 及 部 門
需 要 在 項 目 完 成 後 與 大 學 其 他 部 門
或 教 職 員 分 享 項 目 成 果 及 經 驗 。
