Pet Pantries is in
Need of Support for
the Winter Months
Pet Pantries, a non-profit organization
dedicated to feeding the animals of Caroline,
Dorchester and Talbot, is gearing up
to fill the pantries for the Holidays.These
pet food pantries are used like food
pantries. They enable their owners to keep
their furry friends at home, especially during
difficult economic times. They have recently
partnered with Meals on Wheels and
will be providing pet baskets for the homebound
for the upcoming cold season. In addition,
The Neighborhood Service Center
in Easton has graciously agreed to become
a drop off center for Pet Pantries. “We are
very excited to add NSC to our list of drop
off centers” said Barbara Mulready, President.
Anyone who wishing to contribute,
please drop off pet food at the Neighborhood
Service Center as well as, Eileen’s
Pampered Pets in Easton, Kervertin Pet Resort
and Flying Fred’s in St. Michaels’s .
All three humane locations in Talbot,
Dorchester and Carolines Counties welcome
your pet food donation. These locations
house and distribute the food from our
pantries to the public. Pet Pantries’ community
outreach has been very successful
and we would like to thank our volunteers
and businesses who have been such great
contributors to the cause.
Pet Pantries is currently seeking out
businesses who are willing to hold a pet
food drive at their location. For additional

2008 we have been able to serve hundreds
of pets in our area. Our goal when we
started the program was to provide help
residents to keep their beloved pets during
times of hardship and need. Thanks to the
generous donations from Pet Pantries we
have been able to continue this much

great addition to our efforts to feed the pets
of this county. "

Valley. Also included are 2 breakfasts, 2
three course dinners, and high tea at Hotel
du Pont. Deluxe motor coach transportation
and luggage handling are provided. Please
plan to contribute to bus drivers tip.
Cost per person, double occupancy is
$425. Single occupancy is $100 more. A
deposit of $100 is due at time of sign up;
balance is due by March 29, 2013. Travelers
of all ages are welcomed.
