Distance Learning Partnerships
In addition to the programs listed in this calendar, there are
a number of other options for students wishing to pursue
distance education. Northern Lakes College participates in
partnerships with other Post-Secondary Institutions and
agencies to make learning available for students at times
and locations that meet individual needs.
eCampusAlberta is a consortium of 16 Alberta postsecondary
institutions that have formed a partnership to
offer more online opportunities, from academic upgrading
to completing a certificate, diploma or applied degree.
eCampusAlberta continues to grow, now offering more
than 700 online courses and 60 programs.
Alberta-North has amalgamated with eCampusAlberta.
The partners provide facilities, learning technologies and
support services to the many Community Access Points
(CAP). Community residents can access computers,
technical and student support in each of the many CAP
sites in the northern region.
Why not explore how eCampusAlberta can help you achieve
your educational goals by pursuing online education that is
affordable and supported in your community.
Ed2Go enables students to take any one of more than 300
online classes from their home computer or the computer
at their local CAP. Each six-week online course is facilitated
by an expert instructor who paces the students through
their lessons, answers questions and creates a warm,
supportive community of learners.
