<strong>Nazareth</strong>’s Department of Music presented its second<br />
annual Prism Concert in March <strong>2011</strong>, featuring faculty<br />
and student performers from throughout the department.<br />
“This concert lets us showcase the talents of our students<br />
and faculty in a format that presents an eclectic mix of music<br />
and styles,” says John Hain, D.M.A., visiting assistant professor<br />
of music, concert organizer, and director of the concert<br />
band. “The music flows seamlessly from piece to piece, shifting<br />
the audience’s attention between different parts of the stage<br />
and various locations throughout the hall, keeping everyone<br />
engaged throughout the entire concert.” Here Prof. Nancy<br />
Strelau conducts the <strong>Nazareth</strong> <strong>College</strong> Symphony Orchestra in<br />
performing Achilles, by Josh Forgét ‘13.
