CREATIVE FOOD ART FOR KIDS
What are we making? May we eat them, please?
The little ones simply could not wait to get their hands to start moulding their own sushi bento. Simple ingredients
such as cheese, hams and carrots were used. Various tools including cookie cutters were provided in the making of
the “kawaii” bento sets.
The workshop proved to be a rewarding one indeed as each participant got to create and enjoy their very own bento
masterpieces.
SOCIAL DANCE PARTY
The Activity Suites were decorated with
fascinating masks in line with Mardi Gras theme
on 8 September as members and guests partied
to the beat of the music after a sumptuous dinner.
Our spontaneous participants also throughly
enjoyed the games with some lucky winners
waltzing home with some fanstastic prizes.
ENZYME & DIGESTION
HEALTH TALK – THE KEY
TO A HEALTHY YOU!
The importance of enzymes and our digestive
system was shared with CSC members on 6 October
by Certified Enzyme Therapist, Ms Charlene Hui, of
Transformation Enzyme Corporation, USA, Texas.
Not only will cooking kill germs and bacteria inherent
in the food, it also destroys the enzymes needed for
digestion to take place.
Hands On Sushi
Making Workshop
The workshop received overwhelming full
house attendance on 30 September. It
was an eye opener as the crowd watched
on while Chef Alvin Wong demonstrated
the fine technique of making Gunkan
Sushi, California Maki, Temaki Sushi,
Kyuri Sushi, Kani Sushi and many more.
Members also had a jolly good time
during the hands on session as they put
their new-found knowledge to the test.
ACTIVATE THE HEALING QI WITHIN
Qi Gong is widely practiced to treat or cure an existing illness, to prevent the onset of disease, to increase stamina
or energy levels and to slow down the ageing process.
Having discipled thousands around the world in his systematic art of Qigong exercise and meditation, Grandmaster
Anthony Wee, founder of Chi Dynamics International, shared the benefits of Qigong on 6 October with a class of
health conscious CSC members.
Members practiced the various breathing methods during the demonstration which strengthens bones and even help
to boost the functionality of vital organs such the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and digestive organs.
